Page 1 of Not receiving mail from fsmail accounts..

I`m with NTL as my ISP and have not been getting some mail that was sent. the sender was getting an `undelivered`.
The guy said he was sending it to the right address but to make sure I sent him one and he `replied`. Again he got the rejection.
Someone has said NTL are blocking mail from fsmail accounts as `spam`. Has anyone else heard this?
I find it amazing that NTL`s `approach` to stopping spam is blocking legitimate mail to me while allowing about 50 odd viagra/drug requests a day through to me..

So is anyone else affected by this or heard about it?

Noticed on my fsmail log-in page that they say work on system being carried out from 19th to 27 Jan.

freeserve email currently is playing up though whether this includes being sent out as well as received i`m not sure

No, I don`t think it`s a problem as such with Freeserve/fsmail. I was wondering more along the lines of NTL blocking fsmail..
He can`t send or reply to me but is OK to anyone else.

If anyone has fsmail can u use outlook express to pick it up if so what r the pop & smtp settings as I cant find them in orange help :(

You could try logging into your ntl webmail (still at webmail.ntlworld.com ) and turn off spam filtering, but tell it to mark all suspected spam with SPAM in the subject.

I noticed a few mailing lists got labelled as spam, so I have a junk filter that puts all SPAM in a seperate folder on my email client, and then I have a quick look before deleting all of it. You should be able to see if mail from fsmail is in there.

Not sure if you`re answering my question - lol...... from 2004....
Problem was fixed - quite a few ISP`s were classing fsnet as spam.. :o
