can anyone help? the game keeps freezing whenever i try to start a new game

Have you edited any of the data. This caused my game to freeze and crash.

Make sure you have the enhancement packs installed. Think there have been 3, do a search in google.

the game freezes when installing he shortlists and the error report says theres a problem with my operating system, hardware or product key.
anyone got any suggestions?
