Cheap ISP?

Kenobi (Mostly Harmless) posted this on Tuesday, 23rd March 2004, 23:13

I wonder anyone here can help me. I`m on broadband but will be moving location soon.

I`m looking for an unmetered dial-up ISP for 2 weeks. Does anyone know any good BARGAINS out there eg. free trials, cheap 1st month etc.

Thanks in advance :)

Think you may be wasting your time as most of the people who come on here know better than joining any matrix / pyramid selling scheme.

Don`t touch AOL with a bargepole - unless you`re planning on staying with them; the software can be very tricky to remove.

If you currently have broadband - do they have a back-up dial-up number? If you`re continuing with the same company and just waiting for the installation at your new house, maybe you could just use them? Ring up customer services and ask.

Ah, but obviously you`d be ending your contract with the company.... oh well it`s worth a try anyway?

I am with AOL at the moment, and as much as I hate AOL, I couldn`t refuse their £19.99 a month offer 6 months ago.

They do have a dial up number but I was wondering if I could go on dial up with another company free for really cheap for just 2 weeks
