Page 1 of Samsung A300 broken screen

must`ve dropped it too many times, but the large screen in my phone is now cracked, a friend has given me his old one (broken, but the screens work). I`ve managed to get the main unit apart, but can`t seem to spot how to open the lid containing the screens...

In case this don`t work, does anyone know what I can expect to pay to get a new one fitted??

have i understood you right mate, it`s the upper part of the fllip you want to open up? open your fone, inside the flip, below the main screen there should be a couple of little grey plastic covers, u need a f***n small screwdriverr for this, prise theses little covers off & there are 2 tiny x-head screws. Job done :D

already found`em mate, but thanks for the heads-up. looks like I need to put it in a shop anyway..
