Page 1 of Ge-Force 5600

Anybody got this card? Would u recommend? Have top end sys apart from the card Ge Force 4 MX440-Problem is that it can`t cope with Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow! Any suggestions? Thanks in advance 8)

i have the msi fx5600 and have found it to be very good, tho a lot of people say it`s s***e it plays unreal tournament with all the setings turned up full with no probs :)

So does a geforce 4 MX 440 with a 1.5 GHz processor(really, I`ve tried it)

Get a Radeon 9600 or 9800 and you will see a massive improvement(and in the case of the 9600 its not that much more expensive - about £5 maybe). Also if your computer is top-end you are limiting its capabilities with a FX 5600.

You currently have an nvidia mind you, you may possibly be better off buying an FX 5700 or 5900XT if you can get one.

But the Radeons will give marginally better futureproofing(with new graphics cards out in a month the old ones will be obsolete to all intents and purposes).

Thanks for the information from both of you-appreciated. Now I will just have to decide-but quickly so I can get Pandora up and running-lol. Yeah it is the nvidia I have-dah-sorry about that. Thanks again :)
