Anybody else tried Onspeed? It speeds up your browser on dial up.

Just installed this after reading about it in Computer Active Mag. It`s one of their buy it things. It`s £25 a year or £2 a month. It really seems to speed things up supposedly to near broadband. Anybody else tried it?

i did look at Onspeed awhile ago, but at the time it looked like you had to sign up for the whole year, which did put me off.
Would be interested to hear from someone who has signed up, if it's worth it or not.

I`ve been using Onspeed for about 3 months. It does speed up loading of most pages, and you can set the level of detail for the images (less detail, faster loading). It also speeds up e-mail downloads. My connection is about 3 times faster than before.

I`ve not had a single spam mail as a result of signing up, so I don`t think they pass details to rubbish sites. Easy to download and install, and all the computer mags are giving it high praise.

I recommend it.
