Page 1 of Windows 2000- Msgsrv32 Not Responding

:( Help needed please. Every thme recently that I`ve logged on to my computer it just freezes and it activates again after I press Ctrl Alt delete. The programme Msgsrv 32 is highlighted as not responding. I end this programme and it begins again. But during my surfing the net this happens once or twice and in order to undo the freeze I have the to the same as above. It there anyting I can do or is my Pc TOO old. I`ve had it for about 6 years. Thanks.
