check out the link in my sig below :) also have a mooch around xbox scene http://www.xbox-scene.com/ i personaly much prefer the peeps at x-disc, the atmosphers more like it is here, chilled (most of the time ;) ) xbox scene has a wealth of info but you`re more likely to get you`re head bitten of if you ask a newbie question :/ couple of pointers if you`re thinking of getting you`re x box chipped, find out what model of x box you have, if you post the info thats printed on the sticker on the bottom of you`re x box on the x-disc forums someone will tell you which firmware you have etc (this can be important) and when you get it chipped (or if you do it you`rself) make sure you get a chip that has backup bios sets & lets you switch the chip off (you need this for x box live compatability)

and yes, it`s definatly worth getting an x box chipped :) i wouldn`t even bother with a retail x box now.

Ogster

I had read somewhere? that MS where now able to tell if your xbox was modded when you go online and could freeze your account (even with the switch).
Do you know anything about this?
I want to go Hi-Def but this has been putting me off modding

most auto installers can do a "stealth" install, this creates a partion that protect the m$ instalation & renders the m$ checks irelevent (sp) but tbh i don`t use LIVE so you`re best having a mooch at x-disc.com (follow the link in my sig) for more acurate & up to date info :)
