Page 1 of OPENING DOWNLOADED FILES !

can someone help me i have downloaded a program from a file share and when it finished all the files look like files you cant open ( you get them in program folders they look like windows). how do i open them ? .every time i click on them they say not a readable file and give me options to open them with other programs but i dont know what program to open them with !. can someone help it is a dvd editing program to make pic dvds or dvd videos (home movies ). thanks

First off - you`re about to run software from an untrusted source on your machine. It could be the file you want, but it could also have trojans, viruses or keyloggers. Are you sure you want to do this? Is it worth saving the £x to buy the thing? Especially when there`s a lot of stuff out there to do similar things for not a lot of cash.

You`ve not said what file extension is, but it`s probably .rar or a single .rar file with lots of files .r01, .r02 etc. That a compressed archive like a .zip file split into multiple parts

You need WinRar to combine the files.

once all the files are in the winrar program ( there are 32 all together) what do i do with them ? what button do i push and what does it do with it/
