Page 1 of convert bin and cue files to exe !!!

can someone please give me a step by step guide on how to convert a bin and cue file to an executable file so i can load the program i downloaded . i dont understand all the complicated ways i am reading ao the forums .i need it explained clearly . thanks

You can`t, it is a CD image.

Either burn it to a CD-R or use a utility like Daemontools.

so do i drag it into say nero and burn it on a cd ? then what! i can run the cd and it will install the program that it is, on to my computer or is it more complicated than that.

If you are using Nero, use Burn Image from the recorder menu.

What happens after that depends on the program. If it is legal the site you got it from should have a manual you can browse.

If it isn`t, go out and buy it. :p

Well, you can by using something like Isobuster. Extracts the contents of the bin/cue file so you can see them before burning.

WITH BIN AND CUE FILES CAN YOU SAVE THE IMAGE TO YOUR HARDRIVE WITHOUT HAVING TO USE A DISC OR IS IT THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN TURN IT INTO A PROGRAM ?
