Help identifying a slot on the motherboard

Kano156 (Mostly Harmless) posted this on Sunday, 30th January 2005, 22:41

Need help identifying a slot on the motherboard, it's about 2 inches long and the colour of it is brown, my graphics card is plugged into the agp slot so I know it's not that.

the motherboard is i845 chipset (Fujitsu Siemens D1520-A13 GS 1)

Looked at the pdf manual for this mb and its not on the diagram

Any ideas?

hi
if the slot is to the right of the board, when the agp is to the left - with the pci slots in between then the slot is probably a cmr or amr, basically for a modem or other pheripel[*sp]. this took over from the isa slot as the standard.

the position of the slot is where you stated (agp - left , ?slot - right , pci slots in between)
