Moving House - Which Broadband ISP to go for?
I`m about to move house.
We`re currently with pipex and have no problems at all, but they are a little on the expensive side.
To move house with Pipex you have to cancel your existing account and set up a new one, so i figured worth checking to see if anyone is better.
No complicated special requirements, but would rather not have a capped service. Currently have 512k for £23.44 with Pipex, and if can get a decent deal would be interested in 1MB or more.
We don`t need a modem but would prefer not to pay the connection fee (unless the monhtly fee is cheap enough to recoup it in a year)
Anyone got any recommendations?

AOL silver package ... £17.99 a month, 512kbps.. seems a great deal to me... www.aol.co.uk/products/broadband/silver/index.html , for nearly the same as you were paying you could have the gold package £24.99 a month. 1 meg line... www.aol.co.uk/products/broadband/gold/?promo=228937 free installation as well :D

I`m struggling with this one aswell - now we`ve finally got broadband in our area.
We were thinking of Tesco, as they do our current dial-up and we`ve never had a problem.Tesco is £19.97, 512k,unlimited downloads, free install and modem.
Can`t face AOL even to save 2 squid a month. Ps-in-laws have BT broadband, but I can`t stand all the Yahoo icons and rubbish that come with it.
Madasafish has 2MB bradband for £17.99 + 2mths free, but theres a download limit of 2GB/mnth. Anyone use them?
Our local computer fix-it guy reccomends Dolphin broadband - Can`t find any mention of it on the internet tho`.

I have just moved, and connected with adsl4less.co.uk, for about 1 month so far. They do 512 unlimited for £14.99 per month inc. vat.
They currently have an offer for friends and family ( www.adsl4less.co.uk/offer ) valid untill the end of Feb for 1mb unlimited for £21.99.
Connection fee is £69.99 for no contract, or £58.75 for 1 year contract.
