Page 1 of Editing an MP3 ?!?!

Anyone know if/how one can edit down an MP3 using windows media player ?
Basically,I want to download the chorus of a song to my phone,so it can be used as the ringtone.
The phone itself (Samsung D500) will not allow any editing,so I`ll have to edit it prior to transferring down the USB.

I use a program called MP3DirectCut to do this for my phone. Its Freeware and works well. :)
