MP3 splitter

I`ve got quite a few large mp3 files (audio books) that I want to split into sections. I`d like a program that will do this automatically every 5 minutes and free if possible. I`ve tried mp3 splitter but this sometimes makes files that can`t be read.

Have a wee swatch at http://www.download.com and search for "Direct WAV MP3 Splitter .

I have used the utility for several of my Tolkien cd`s (MP3 conversions) and it allows you to split by time or size so it is quite versatile.
