Page 1 of netbroadcast event window on shutdown?

I have trawled the website and have not found an answer.
After installing an update for my ATI graphics card (which I had to uninstall and reistall from the CD after it didn`t work) I get the above message on shutdown on a regular basis.

Apparently it`s linked to the catalyst control centre for ATI and framework. The problem is well documented but no answers.

It slows down shutdown and wondering if it may evolve into a bigger problem later on.

Any help appreciated (with simple suggestions) as I haven`t sorted my internet one (on another mail).

Think I should leave things well alone until critical but then it is always suggested to upload latest drivers etc.
