Are Three (the mobile network) any good?

Thinking of changing from O2 to Three and just wondered if they are any good?
Are you able to check your bills online and stuff?

One thing to consider with 3, is that they rent their "airspace" (for want of a better word) from O2. So the same masts serve both networks.

The problem is that O2 get preference, so if a mast is up to full capacity with O2 calls, 3 customers won`t get a signal. And likewise if an O2 customer tries to connect, and it is struggling, it`ll be 3 connections that get cut off to make room for the O2 people.

I don`t know what their online service is like, but everyone I know that has tried 3 have abandoned it after a short while and gone back to other more reliable networks.

Hmmm food for thought then.
Not really interested in the whole internet phone and video calling crap. Just want to phone and text and been tempted by the £12.50 a month offer.
Back to the drawing board maybe

Hi
The 3 yrs I have spent in the UK I have used the 3 service and I must say I have had no problems at all.
I was scheduled to return to New York in July but that has been postponed, I phone 3 and told them I need to extend the contact again by at least 6 months all done as one would expect.
Their customer service is fairly good and informative.
I like the 3 content for the soccer season keeping up to date with scores, I will miss that when I go back home as we don`t have that service available.

Both my fiance, my brother and I are all with 3, and none of us have any complaints. Very satisfied so far!

Maybe the connection problems are more of an issue in the sticks then. You must always remember that I live in the middle of nowhere!

I think they only use O2 when its out of the range of their 3G masts. Last week whilst staying near Lewes I had a 3G sinal from 3 and my wife on O2 didn`t get a signal. She`s now changed to 3.

Never had a bad experience with 3 in nearly 4 years.

Been with 3 for nearly 3 years - no complaints at all regarding customer service or signal service. yes, you can administrate your bill online and on your mobile. And with them, their half-price deals and double-minutes/texts offers are applied directly to the bill at the time - no having to send off you 1st, 5th, 9th bills etc...

So basically that`s a recommendation from me :D
