Page 1 of recording sound from video clip on youtube

I have found a comedy sketch that i want the audio from. how software would i record this

2 ways.

1. Use Absolute MP3 Recorder and just record it as it is playing.

2. Download Video Downloader extension for Firefox. Download the FLV file for the sketch, and then use SUPER to convert it to MP3.

Depending on the length of the sketch and your connection speed, either method could be the quickest. All program/tools are freeware.

Will any of these programmes rip the sound off avi or mpeg files? I ask as I`ve been trying to do the same with `Sound Forge` but it just won`t have it!?

Yes Super and Absolute MP3 Recorder (if you only need a snippet) will both do it.
