can anyone recommend a good site for downloading ringtones. they all seem to want to charge so much per week. we would just like to do a one of payment for 1 download and no other subscriptions, and can anyone suggest a good site. the wife is looking for the pink panther theme.

http://www.zedge.net

not a bad site to start with, free to register and use, can download to your phone or PC, recommend downloading to the PC and using bluetooth or cable to transfer to your phone. This makes it totally free :)

Or you could just send your fav mp3`s to your phone the same way without even usin a web site.

I create my own ringtones from my mp3 or wma files by using Goldwave. This allows you to select the part of the song i.e. 20 seconds then "save selection as" give it a name then transfer to your phone.
I have created approx. 100 ringtones from Stones, Genesis, Rush, Queen, Snow Patrol, etc.
