I seem to remember it being pretty good - I almost signed up for it. For running a website, it`s fantastic for someone who`s just starting out because iWeb is ace. Have you checked it out on the website?

For someone in your position there is literally no point. It gives you a web based storage disc that you can automagically synch your mac to, web publishing, as ben says and photo publishing all tying in with iWeb and iPhoto.

Some people swear by it, but there are literally a million and one web apps that do the same thing. They dont fully integrate with iLife though...or give you a fancy .mac email address.....

From what I remember when I had my trial 18 months ago it`s really just a web hosting service that`s sepcifically set up for Mac users that is designed to work seamlessly with websites built with iWeb, allowing a lot of the advanced features that you can`t (easily) use if hosting your site elsewhere. BUT I found it dreadfully slow as a host of a website, which was fairly image intensive but it was painful to use in comparison with teh same site hosted elsewhere.

Might be of use to true beginners looking to make everything as easy as possible but I don`t think it offers value to those capable of going elsewhere.
