Says it's 1.1GB - but needs 5.8GB to install. WTF.
Looks like I'll stick with IOS7.

badboybez...apparently if you upgrade ios through itunes, you don't need that much space on your phone

That correct, upgrading through iTunes doesnt require you to make any extra space on your device.

nothing broken here, not really noticed any major changes yet either. Strangely mine said 1.7gb with 6.9gb space needed. Different ios image for different devices I assume.

Anyone updated an iphone 4s yet ?
As the oldest suitable phone to be allowed ios8 (old ?..how very dare they !), i'm concerned it may have a negative effect on its speed.

mines a 4s, showing as downloading at the mo'

Well all went on without fuss.
Cant see much of a difference with the exception for more apps that are now in my 's***' folder as you cant delete them!

np dwh, glad you like the dubs :) haven't had one myself for many
many years, but have started going to the occasional show.

still downloading...must be a few others updating their phones
at the moment too? strange as i didn't think iPhones were very
popular
