customs friendly?

thesquale (Harmless) posted this on Monday, 12th August 2002, 12:14

Hi everyone,

I want to buy the Hitchcock Collection from one of those sites from R4:

Ezydvd, devoted or dvdcrave. But it`s a 5 discs ste, so I might get caught by the customs..
Which one is the best for that kind of big orders??

Thanks

I don`t know how much the set you want costs, but at the current exchange rate you can import just over A$100 (GB£36) as a gift, so if the Hitchcock set falls into this bracket you should be OK. If I remember rightly, EzyDVD have a section during the order process where you can write any specific comments/instructions you have regarding your order, such as "Gift - please mark as such on customs label". Ezy are usually pretty good to deal with, and providing that your package comes to $100 or less you should be fine.

Dazza.
