Has anyone bought a DVD player via the internet from Richer Sounds. They appear to show stock when the shops are suggesting 2-3 weeks delivery?
Not bought from Richer Sounds over the internet (from reading past posts this side of their operation is not that brilliant).
However I have bought from my local branch in Bristol and was very happy with the service and price. You can try a unit at home for up to a fortnight and if you don`t like it they will change it or refund.
I have bought a few items from them over the internet, the sub i wanted was out of stock so upgraded it for the same money(saving me nearly £50) so i cant complain, delivery was good aswell.
As i Understand it the web and stores work indepentantly, as the depot is in manchester stores have to order it in for you and the web sends it from depot. I perfer to wait for it to come into store as you can`t beat face to face advise, plus if you have a problem and can`t get things going with your equipment give them a ring and they`ll help you over the phone!! Long live Richer Sounds!!! Curry`s are a massive retailer and part of the Dixon`s Group and they can`t get things in when you want them, plus they don`t have a clue what their talking about! If the sales assistant at richer sounds doesn`t know the answer to your question, he/she is quite honest and tells you so and then goes and finds out, after all i guess their only human!
