I ordered a DVD, (Moulin Rouge) from this firm on 25th July 2003. They took the money from my card within seconds, sent an automated reply, but that is the lst time they have attempted to contact me. They are not replying to emails. On the one occasion I have managed to get through on the phone they said that the DVD would be posted that evening, without even asking for my order number or details.
Now there is a message on their site saying all orders are being fulfilled and there will be a new site soon.
I`d be very wary about placing any orders with this co until their current position is clarified.
I know there is quite an historic thread about this bunch, where the MD used to come on site and try to answer problems, not particularly well in my case.
I said I wouldn`t use them again but spotted some bargains the other week and bought 3 discs. They arrived fairly quick but one shrink wrapped copy didn`t have a disc in ! I e-mailed them twice and no reply, so phoned them and the girl I spoke to said yes I saw your e-mail and was quite abrupt but did send me another disc.
I`d ring `em again or chargeback on your card if it still fails to materialise.
Kind of looks like the brave attempt by Film First to compete with the CD-Wow`s of the DVD world is on it`s last legs.
Shame really.
