Had fun with Currys and their Freeview Box for 40quid
Friday on sale: No stock come back Monday
Monday: No stock Delivery on Wed
Wed : No stock Delivery and end of offer Tonight.
Wed night TV advert for Freeview Box
Thur : Delivery (but behind the counter).
40quid paid and pleased :) they ran the advert. :)

Errrr. No. Sorry, but just wrong. (Well at least from what I can make out from your post)
At the discretion of an individual manager the offer might be upheld, but there is nothing to force them.
Of course, if you order and do the deal at a special price, but the goods are delivered later, then of course you don`t have to pay a not special-order price. That`s just common sense.

Yep, Dan`s right.... "invitation to treat is the term". They can offer you goods for sale, but they don`t have to sell it to you. Until a contract is formed, ie: you give them payment, and they give you the goods....you have no right to it I`m afraid. Just up to how you negotiate with the manager really. :)
