Page 1 of CD-WOW: Customs charge loophole found?

Checking through their box sets etc and found that they no longer warn you of the customs charge that may be applied on receiving goods in this country. Does that mean that they have found a way in to relieve us from the heavy customs bill? :/

When you say `checking through`, what exactly do you mean?
The warning comes up when you add it to your basket doesn`t it?
EDIT:no, sorry thinking about it, you`re right. It`s the multi-region warning I was thinking about..

Woo Hoo!

Excellent! But dammit why couldn`t i have known 2 days ago!
Bought the R2 from powerplaydirect Indiana Jones boxset because I didn`t want to get hit by customs, but now for 50p more i could get the uncut R1 version. Can anyone tell me what I`ll be missing out on?

But the terms and conditions still mentions that customs charges may apply. So, if you do get stiffed, they can`t be blamed for it.

Has been pointed out to me that CDWOW got round the BPI issue by importing CD`s in bulk into Europe and shipping them from there, so why wouldn`t they use the same system for DVD`s ?

I emailed them about the customs charge being in the T&C`s and here`s the reply I got:
