Blockbuster - A happy ending
Just for the record, after charging me twice for 5 consecutive months, Blockbuster have now refunded me the £69.95 they owed me. Credit when it`s due, they actually sorted it out rather quickly, once they received my letter (I work in a law firm so it was properly drafted!) and a few pestering calls.
I will stay with BB as by the sound of all of your comments, BB, Lovefilm and Screenselect all seem to get similar mixed reviews - the service really does seem to vary randomly.
However, this week I am geting items literally at the bottom of my list - are they trying to tell me something? ;)
RE: Blockbuster - A happy ending
Blockbuster were so bad I cancelled my trial a week or so early.
With Screenselect at the mo and they`ve been good so far, as were Lovefilm.
Oh my God, Bear is driving! How can that be?
RE: Blockbuster - A happy ending
What are the selections with the online rental sites like these days, the last time I used them was when DVDsOnTap became LoveFilm. At that point the selection was enormous, but mainly out of date. The newest offerings were usually available in the local high street rental stores 6 months earlier, but they were cheap so I lived with that until their turnaround times went to pot.
For the sake of a short walk and a few quid extra to get the most recent releases, it didn`t seem worth carrying on with LoveFilm . . . has this changed ? I plan to move soon and won`t be so close to the nearest store, so online rentals may be an option again.
