Page 1 of cd-wow service deteriorating?

I have always been a big fan of cd-wow, used them loads over the years and have always looked there first before placing my orders..........................

However, in the last 9-12 months the service levels have dropped dramatically. If I out a pre-order in, then I used to receive it on the day of release, then it started to get posted on the day of release, now it can get posted anytime up to a week after the day of release.

Anyone else noticed this?

Oh, and the shoddy R5 discs that they have started selling are also not filling me with confidence.

wossname, I think that you have missed my point. I am not doubting that cd-wow offers a great service, what I am suspecting is that it is deteriorating.

The orders are not as fast as they used to be, especially with pre-orders is what I am saying.

I didn`t miss your point, as 6 days is a long time for a DVD from CDWOW! I don`t know when they had the preordered date of The Simpsons Season 5 (R1) but mine has been despatched. :)

sadly i must agree.

not once, not twice but three times times now with pre-releases i have had e-mails informing me of order delays. in one case i had to wait an extra 2 weeks. i have neer had this problem with any other e-tailer

they may be among the cheapest out there but if this continues i`m afraid i`ll be looking elsewhere
