Page 1 of Locked out of my DVD Soon account? Now back in at last...

I`m wondering if DVD Soon are on the brink of collapse you know - the big thread here about loads of cancelled orders is mirrored with my experience today (2 cancelled orders, but one of them was never in stock anyway). What`s worse for me though is that for about a week, I`ve not been able to log into my account ! I`ve e-mailed DVD Soon about it (I`m an iCard holder and have store credit I want to use up), but they sent me a pro forma response (make sure caps lock is off etc. etc.).

I requested my "forgotten password" twice now and it`s not been changed and i`m not typing it in wrong - anyone else out there been "locked out"? BTW, did you know that DVD Soon locks accounts for 24 hours if there`s 5 failures to type the correct password in - a sure fire way to leave yourself open to a massive denial service of attack (script does 5 bad logins once a day and you could lock out an account forever).

Anyway, I`ve sent them another e-mail asking them to manually investigate (and even change my password if they deem it necessary) rather than send me a canned response.\

Update: Seems to have done the trick - I`m back in the account again now. Almost CAD$ 30 in dodgy store credit now (great - you can only use store credit against 25% of your order - is that legal?! - and store credit "disappears" if unused after one year - also sounding illegal to me !). Add the fact that the free shipping point of CAD $39 has been set to match the 18 quid import duty limit into the UK and you can see that DVD Soon are treating their customers *very badly* at the moment.

I signed in with no problem....

I`ve been locked out for 48 hours too. I know I`m putting in the right password. There are more people locked out if you look across to the DVD-Swaps DVDSoon forums.
