SVP selling shockingly bad media
I bought some media from SVP a few days ago.
They weren`t the cheapest discs and I thought paying extra mean`t I would be getting reliable discs.
It has been burn out after burn out. I don`t think it is my dvd writer as I recently bought the same brand disc from choicestationery and successfully burned every disc with not a single failure.
what discs did you buy?
RE: SVP selling shockingly bad media
Worth trying a new batch from the other place to ensure your laser isn`t on the way out on your burner, but IIRC SVP offer a return option that if it`s bad media they`ll replace them.
Saying that though, service and quality has seemed to drop a bit recently with SVP, to the point that even the pricing is now on par with going into a local shop and buying direct.

I bought a spindle of 10 dual layer discs from them, got a couple of coasters, emailed them, and they asked me what brand I`d like instead, and sent by courier that brand, and said as it was such a small amount, they didn`t want me to send back the ones I found faulty.
I have found though that recently, I`ve bought discs(DVD-R, CD-R) from play, and(DVD-RW) from Tesco as SVPs p&p can make them pricey if you just want a few discs

The one time I had a problem with SVP, they were great at sorting it out too.
Just talk to them!
