i placed an order for a dvd player innit...but i cancelled it cause i seen a few bad reviews on here and i was gonna get a player from multi region magic..cause of the next day delivery.....i recieved an email confirming the cancellation...but today i goto my bank they have taken the money out AND it took me over my limit and i got a £25 fee the thieving scum..i am p***ed i tried phoning it was engaged so i emailed them and am waiting for a reply..so no one should ever buy a player from them EVER.

Make sure you have details of who you contacted and when, then charge Techtronics for the £25. If they fudge the issue contact Trading Standards and / or Citizens Advice Beureau. They have assisted me in getting justice with crooked companies in the past.

i never contacted no one yet cause by the time i found out there phone line closed..so i am gonna ring tommorow..i have emailed and i am gonna get them to give me the 25 notes back i got the bank to print off this report thing with it on so if they want it i can post it innit

Well you orderd it, so surely you are partly responsible as well, they could have removed the money before you canceld, and what if you had purchased the item would you have still gone over your limit.

Seems to me the problem is at the greedy banks doorsteps.

i cancelled it monday they took the money out on thursday..and i wouldnt have gone over cause when i recieved the email (on tuesday) to say it was cancelled i ordered some dvds innit..that was 34 quid and i only went over by 3 quid...but they will pay the money back for the player and i gotta send a statement to get me 25 quid back so they was ok with that but it took me ages..the first guy i spoke to said they wouldnt pay the money back, so i asked to speak to the manager she werent at her desk..so i said i call back later...2 hours later she still werent at her desk so i left a message for her to call back she never did, so at about 2 oclock i rang got her direct line number and she said of course they pay the money back..but i am still mad that they took it out in the first place....

I see your point and I am sure they will pay the money back and as you say the manager has already confirmed this to you.

I am not a huge fan of techtronics because of the bad forum press, but mistakes do happen and any of the online companies could have made the same mistake of not cancelling the payment when the order was cancelled.

I am not sure the error qualifies them as thiefs, incompetent maybe.

yeah mistakes happen, but for them to send an email saying it was cancelled you would think that they put somit on there system to stop them stealing my money (i see them ass theives AND incompentent) but the money didnt get taken out my account until thursday..and i got the email on tuesday...but never mind i got me money and an experience..i know not to use them now innit.

I feel bad for you - it`s obvious you need the money for lessons in basic writing skills and elocution.
