Page 1 of Carling makes me care about football

Normally I couldn`t give a rat`s ass about footie. I`ll watch the internationals but all the other stuff bores me to tears.

That said, the current Promotion on carling cans has just promised me £50 if the England vs Hungary match ends up 5-1 to us. So I`m now officially excited.

Not excited enough to put those crap flags on the car tho.

Lol, the only time I drink Carling is when I use it as a pacer (If im flagging and its my round, i`ll sneak a carling in amongst the rest of the Stellas) or if im driving and its my single pint.

I remember France 98, I used to get loads of Carling bumpf from signing up at the birmingham carling academy, they had a bottle top, ring pull promotion. I worked out that if I wanted any of the prizes worth getting, i would have to drink my own bodyweight in Carling during the world cup.

The first time I met one of my good friends, we had just started uni and he was giving it the big one about how great lahndahn was (he was a proper cockney sparrer), how great spurs were and how, generally, great it is in London and how hardcore Londoners are.

We had a bit of banter back and forth, myself and a lad from Bolton were keeping the northern end up and we had reached a bit of a stalemate. I said I was going to the bar and what did everyone want. Stellas all round except for the Londoner who had a Carling Top. A f***ing Carling Top?!?!

Oh.....the humanity.....still, 8 years later, i still ask him if he wants a panda pop every time I go up to the bar.

The second halfs gone off with a bang, 2-0 already...

Carling is s***e. I was once nearly skint and was sort of forced to buy it because it was 2 for 1 at the bar and believe me if you have enough of it, it does get to you. Mind you I will never drink it again.

UPDATE 2-1 now, your 50 quid is still on so as we score 3 more.

Yes, I drink tops, but truth be told, i don`t really drink to get druink anymore, hence the preferred lower alcohol content.
