I was actually more disgusted with Mark Lawrenson, who seemed to be one complementary analogy away from running onto the pitch and licking Ronaldinhos ball bag.

I changed the commentary to 5live after a while, but they were doing it too, to a slightly lesser degree admittedly. Finally I muted the telly and stuck Talk Sport on, who were, thankfully reasonably impartial. The general gist being `The Brazilians can play well, but they arent today and if you have a go at them, with their aging defence, you will probably score and the Croats can play a bit, too`, which I thought was fair.

I was,frankly,amazed it took him 82 minutes (I checked the clock) to mention Wayne Rooney in a Brazil v Croatia game.

Twat.

Mind you,I didn`t hear him mention " Nineteen ssssshhhhhixty-ssssssshixssssshhh",which is a bonus I suppose.

It makes a change from the commentators constantly talking about england.

It took them nearly 80 minutes to mention that Dado Prso played for Rangers. If he played for a premiership team it would have been mentioned every time he was on screen.

And I thought it was just me getting annoyed with this... :o

Good though he might be on his day, Ronaldinho wasn`t much more than a show pony last night. You wouldn`t have thought so though coming from them two.

Motty will probably end up commentating for the Brazilians in the final.

I would rather motty and lawrenson or whoever it is than any of the ITV lot. My god they are the worst ever!
