Page 1 of Champions League Final (Contains spoilers)

Well at the end of the day i could say the first goal was hand ball, The ref was very biased, They should never been aloud to be in Europe however I WON`T at the end of the day Rafa should of started with 2 strikers.

First half We played the better football but Milan Made their chance count.
I must admit that the ref did seem to be on the Milan payroll though, If Kuyt got close to anybody he blew up for a free kick.

Just so i don`t sound like Paull, Congrats to AC Milan

Disappointing, but Liverpool didn`t make the most of their possession in the first half.
Dida was hardly tested.
HOPE we don`t get too many supporters of other clubs gloating.
As a neutral it`s a let down, having had three Premiership teams in the last four.
Fair play to Milan, they had a lucky break at the perfect moment and no team`s better at holding onto an advantage.

Liverpool were the better team in the first half by far, just didnt make the most of their chances. Milan were lucky to go into the break 1-0 up very much against the run of play..but thats football, its all about putting the ball into the net. Milan played the better football in the second half from what I saw (I have to admit I was hopping between the footie and the apprentice for a lot of the second half)

Kaka wasnt the player who tortured Man U single handed, weather that was down to Liverpools tactics or not I dunno but they did well to keep him at bay for a lot of the game. Pennant was different class and prolly the best player for me tonight, always a threat. maybe a slight shout for handball for the first goal but it was more a ball to hand and I dont think he knew much about it until it hit the back of the net

Once Milan were in front they were always gonna be tough to crack but fair play to Liverpool for making it a good game ..if not the right result :)

What a difference to see such grace in defeat....
Love to know why we waited so long for Crouch.... and Arbeloa on at the end?? You really are having a f***in` laugh Rafa.....

I`m an Evertonian...as I`ve probably mentioned too many times now!?...and have to say Liverpool where hard done by tonight. Overall they dominated play and that first fluke of a goal was a killer blow to them. I did notice the ref was a bit biased towards Milan myself!? Something strange going on there. If I did have any gripes about Liverpool it would have to be that Zenden was the weakest link. I noticed that also in the semi`s against Chelsea. Pennant on the other hand was a revelation and a joy to watch. Gerrard was quiet by his own standards but still played his heart out.

Don`t take any s*** off Man Utd fans. Remember , Milan totally annihilated them a few weeks ago but got lucky against Liverpool. Thats a testament to Liverpool in itself. Still...saved the Utd fans the air fair there I suppose!

Overall , two Champions League Finals in three years is a great achievement. Utd can only dream of anything remotely like that..........

Edit- For what its worth I have played against Carragher and ran rings round him! :) Mind you , it was years ago when he was about 10 and I was in my late teens!?! He and his mates joined us on our match in The North Park in Bootle and I had him in my pocket!!

I`d hate to compare footballing abilities now though.....

Bollocks. We had a team that was well worn after a heavy season against a team that because they had no chance of winning the italian league rested loads of players. We were not annihilated. We won at home they won at home. We annihilated ROMA who are way above AC Cheats/divers/late heart attack specialists.

dkuk2000 It`s not about the fact they scored more goals against you it`s the fact they had no right to play against US or you. They cheated & bought there way into the Italian league & Champions League. They are cheats, there is no other word for it. FOOTBALL LOST both against Manchester United & Liverpool.
