Eto and Ibrahimovich deal goes through

Inter must be p*ssing themselves.

It`s believed to be

Barcelona have reportedly offered €45million (£38.7m) plus Eto`o along with allowing Alexander Hleb to join on a year-long loan in exchange for Ibrahimovic.

Now I don`t think that Ibrahimovic is as bad and over-rated as some people do, but this is ludicrous. It`s well more than the Kaka deal and pretty much the same as the Ronaldo deal.

Hats off to Mourinho. Just wonder if he`ll waste the money like he did last summer (Quaresma £22million).

the headline figure does seem crazy but in some of the reports i read it made a bit more sense.

only man city were prepared to pay £25m for eto`o - everyone else in europe was scared off by the thought of paying a fee + his wage demands. barca felt the only way of getting any money for him was to lower the transfer fee and hope the extra cash could help a new club pay his massive wages. so the headline fee is more like £38m + eto`o (worth £10m or less) - hleb is on loan with a view to buy.

£48m although silly is not an insane 75m euros.

i don`t think inter will be p*ssing themselves - ibrahimovic was pretty much a one man team, he`d get them wins when inter performed poorly. maybe they`ll move for aguero but they already have diego millito.

it`ll be interesting. barca have lost eto`os aggression but will have gained ibrahimovic`s ability to score special goals out of nothing - vice versa for inter.

I think i`d rather have Eto`o than Ibrahimovic
