Slow start, new characters... now two actors from The Wire in it. :)

Just seen episode 1...

SPOILER:
Really loved the pan to the roof where the military helicopter had crashed. :)

And the bit that happened after. :)

I thought the Irish woman's friend Eddie would turn out to be the governor, then I thought he was her imaginary friend.

Didn't quite see how Harry Potter got so ill he died and turned into a zombie. :(

Two new actors from The Wire?

Is one of them your including Cutty? (He was in it back end of last season).

Surprisingly they seem to have got rid of their one in, one out policy on black male actors!


SPOILER:
I've read online, that the illness was to do with the obvious like of cleanliness and hygiene living in the squalor and that the pig, was potentially a carrier of the disease into the prison.  Makes sense I suppose that diseases and illness would start coming back in force in the circumstances.SPOILER:
Really liked the zombies raining in as one of the more inventive zombie scenes in a while.

Definitely an improvement over season 3. Dat hammer scene!

Wondering if maybe that was a bit of an inside joke on their part as they know what everyone thinks?


Season 5 was confirmed yesterday.  It's apparently been breaking viewing records this year.

I really want them to leave the prison, from a realism POV staying in the prison makes sense, but from a dramatic interest perspective, it's a bit dull. :(

Can't they move off to a funfair or theme park or something?

I think the disease and the other problems building up over the season, will eventually lead to the realism POV that they have to leave.  Plus the Govenor knows where the prison is......
