Synopsis:
The morning after an apparently harmless comet hits the earth, lovers Steve (Travis Brorsen) and Mimi (Roshelle Pattison) are heading home after a night camped out at the top of Topanga Canyon when Steve is attacked and seriously bitten by a man staggering along the road. Moments later, as several more zombie-like people appear, the couple is rescued by Simon (Chris Ivan Cevic), who leads them to a remote, concrete bunker in a fenced off compound hidden in the hills. Inside the compound are nine others, amongst them a former porn star (Marian Tomas Griffin) and her teenage daughter (Ashley Elizabeth Pierce), a couple of car salesmen (Bryan Rasmussen and Eric Stuart), a crazed Bible basher (John Lee Ames) and his sick brother (William Cannon), and a trigger-happy misanthropist (Tom Eplin). Outside are countless more people like those Steve and Mimi encountered on the road - undead human flesheaters intent on breaking through the perimeter fence and feeding on the last of the living.
As night falls, the small group of human survivors - some sick, some dying and some slowly going mad - must overcome their differences and band together to fend off the grisly man-eaters in a last stand between the living and the dead.
