What if you could reach back into time and change the one event that forever altered your life? Would you do it? And what would it be?
All his life, police officer John Sullivan (Jim Caviezel) has been haunted by one tragic event. When a once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon of nature opens a mysterious channel to the past, John is stunned to discover that he is able to communicate with his dad Frank (Dennis Quaid) who`s been dead for 30 years. But by changing the past, they set in motion a string of brutal, unsolved murders, with John`s mother, and Frank`s wife, the next victim. Racing against time, the son and father must now find a way to stop the crime that could destroy the future for both of them.

Your Opinions and Comments
Both of the leads are doing a fine job of acting.
The video transfer is very good. The dark scenes are rendered in great detail and there is not a single sign of compression marks.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is very good. The surrounds are used appropriately and do a good job.
The menus are all animated with sounds and look very nice.
The extras are really good. They include 2 interesting commentaries, some deleted scenes, a great documentary that doesn`t just go behind the scenes but rather explains all the phenomenons in the movie, an isolated score track, a trivia titles track which is very informative and 4 stages in the rendering of the opening scene. All in all, this is how extras should be.
Bottom line - a good movie with great extras, nice visuals, intriguing plot and fine acting.
