Introduction

Pablo Francisco is a US comic and actor who is apparently best known for his voice work on Family Guy and The Simpsons.   He is also apparently the most viewed comic on-line, of which I am extremely sceptical.

Anyway, partly because I'm running out of things to say (already), I'm going to quote a piece from his PR material:

"When Pablo Francisco unleashes his creative combustion his audience is jolted into boisterous laughter and applause.  It is not uncommon to sense the anticipation of Pablo's audience as his fans await their favourite impressions.  Those who experience Pablo's show for the first time find themselves captivated by his brilliant off-the-wall sound effects and uniquely animated delivery.  His natural ability to create vividly funny living pictures that focus on family and relationships give Pablo's show a universal appeal"

Well clearly they hadn't watched this, which as I'd never heard of him, was my first (and last) experience of the comedic talent of Pablo Franciso.

Overall

My knowledge of comedians is not that great so it's no surprise to me that I'd never heard of this US comedian and "international sensation".  I was actually so captivated by his "brilliant off-the-wall sound effects and uniquely animated delivery" that I found myself switching the thing off after around twenty minutes as I just couldn't stand it anymore.

His audience clearly loved it, particularly a middle-aged female on the right hand side of the stage that the camera panned to an awful lot during my limited viewing time.  I found his jokes to be extremely lame and his reliance on sound effects just seemed to me to distract people from this lameness.

I hated it and got nowhere near finishing it.  Make of that what you will.  Give me Michael McIntyre any day…
