Synopsis:
Three sisters and a brother, The Corrs are from Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland. While playing shows in Dublin, a chance meeting with US Ambassador to Ireland Jean Kennedy Smith led to a concert in Boston playing at the John F. Kennedy Library. On their last day in the US they were recommended to producer David Foster by Jason Flom of Atlantic Records. Unable to get an appointment with Foster, they walked down New York`s blazing hot 5th Avenue to wait at the Hit Factory studio, unannounced. They met him and the next day they were signed to Atlantic Records.
Their debut album "Forgiven, Not Forgotten" appeared in September 1995, and The Corrs have performed it in the USA, Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines, with more to come.
The result has been multi-platinum sales, boosted by the release in 1997 of the second album "Talk On Corners". At the time of writing, the albums are certified gold or platinum in 12 countries, and one reason is their dynamic live show. Aided by Dubliners Keith Duffy (bass) and Conor Brady (guitar) The Corrs have left packed houses demanding more wherever they go. Now for the first time on DVD, enjoy a real event with The Corrs live at London`s Royal Albert Hall.
