Your Opinions and Comments
The two DVD`s are proof of what is good about DVD. The picture is fantastic, the sound quality is just that, quality. There is also the option of viewing different members of the band through multiple camera-angle support (albeit on only a handful of the tracks).
A nice selection of featurettes too, including behind the scenes tours and interviews with fans.
This concert features thier best known material as well as other classics. For me, the highlight of this concert is the Kill/Ride medley which concludes Disc 1. This features 6 tracks from the first two albums: Kill `Em All and Ride The Lightning. Now, if only they would play these songs in full.
The picture quality is excellent throughout with hardly any defects at all. The sound is equally as good. You could almost imagine that you were there.
There`s also a good selection of extras. These include a feature on the audience`s particpation with the band, security, guitar tech, carpenters and pyro technicians. There`s also multi-angle selection for some songs and an extensive photo gallery.
Overall, a good concert on an excellent disc. Some branches of HMV ( Central London in particular ) have this for as low as
£12.99. At such a bargain price, how can you not buy this?
