Your Opinions and Comments
The video transfer is good. The forests colors are presented very nicely and no compression signs are noticeable. There are quite a few special effects in the movie, but most of them are very subtle and include mouth movements for the animals.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is good. The surrounds are used often to give a nice ambiance.
The menus are animated with sound.
The extras include a commentary, 2 behind the scenes looks, 2 extended scenes, a (horrible) music video, a documentary about bears, several storyboards, a featurette about the special effects and some Nuon features (I could not check because my player is a non-Nuon one).
Bottom line - despite the fine extras (and the cute chameleon), this movie is no good.
