A fantastic box set and an absolute bargain at £40 from play.com at the moment. The trouble is that this is only fantastic due to the fantastic content. Everything else (video, audio and particularly the extras) is a bit of a disappointment.

Video and Audio are OK (better in Series 3 and 4) but nothing special, and I can't help think that more could have been done to make them scrub up a little better. And then we get to the extras. mmmm.. what to say? Well, if you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all, which, coincidently is the sum total of the extras - nothing at all.

This is a must-have purchase for any Blackadder fan (and frankly, who wouldn't be?) - just a shame about the discs themselves.
