Synopsis:
DCP Veer (Jackie Shroff), a police officer who works by the book, faces a situation when his son Sahil (Jash) is suffering from blood cancer and is need of a bone marrow transplant in order to survive. The bone marrow needed is rare and complications arise in Veer`s life when he learns that only man who has the potential to become a bone marrow donator is a sick psychopath named Bali (Sanjay Dutt) who was caught and sent to prison by Veer.

Veer asks Bali if he is willing to do this, but Bali sees this as an opportunity to get his revenge back by allowing the child to die. However Veer`s wife Naina (Raveena Tandon) begs Bali to give the transplant in the name of humanity. Bali decides to comply but when in hospital he escapes and Veer is left to take the blame.

The police commissioner (Naveen Nischol) wants Bali back dead or alive and hires a ruthless inspector call Khan (Aditya Pancholi) to do the job. But Veer knows that Khan will kill Bali as Khan hates all prisoners. It is now up to Veer to save the life of Bali inorder for his child to survive...
