Your Opinions and Comments
The video transfer is good. There are no compression signs to be seen and the colors are nicely saturated. The editing is quite good and gives the movie a fast pace (still, a fast paced plotless movie is like applying full gas in neutral).
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is loud. Very loud. There`s a good usage of the surrounds, but don`t expect any split surrounds effects. The music is good, that is if you`re into rock. If rock isn`t your cup of tea, the soundtrack will give you a major headache. Guaranteed.
The menus are still with music.
The extras include a (boring) commentary by the director, a short behind the scenes featurette, a music video and some outtakes (which can be seen while the credits are rolling).
Bottom line - a bad movie, but it can still serve as a 102-minute music video.
In addition, like Spinal Tap, you listen to the music that`s been put together for `the band` and think, hey, this is cool in its own right. An excellent celebration of the days when singers could hit those notes and guitarists weren`t afraid to widdle :0>
