After numerous delays, the long-awaited DVD from legendary thrash-metallers Slayer is finally here. Filmed at San Fransisco`s Warfield Theatre on 7 December 2001, this set features 19 of Slayer`s best material. Classics such as Chemical Warfare, Hell Awaits, Angel Of Death, Raining Bloodn and War Ensemble are mixed in with tracks from the band`s most recent album, God Hates Us All.

The picture quality is pretty good considering the source material. The sound is excellent. Definetly a disc to turn up to max volume on. If you have no neighbours and burst-proof ear drums that is.

The extra material is better then expected for this kind of DVD. We get the music video for Bloodline along with a good photo gallery. Best of all is the 50 minute Fans Rules documentary which looks at the band`s fanatical fan base. This includes with many fans and also the band. Although most of the fan`s comments are as you would expect, the interview segments with the band are very interesting. As I`ve never seen any extensive interview footage with the band, this was quite fascinating to me.

A DVD any Slayer fan or any fan of rock/metal would be proud to own.
