Your Opinions and Comments
I had high expectations from this movie (being a fan of Shyamalan), and boy - was I in for a surprise! The movie actually exceeded my expectations.
The story is very nicely presented and while not being too horrifying, it manages to create a truly creepy and eerie atmosphere of uncertainty.
The video transfer is very good. The colors are beautifully presented and no compression signs nor scratches can be spotted.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is very good, too. The surrounds are nicely used and create a very powerful (and truly scary) atmosphere.
The menus are nicely animated with sound.
The extras include a picture gallery, 5 deleted scenes, a behind the scenes featurette and an early movie from the director.
Bottom line - an excellent movie with some brilliant performance and an intense atmosphere. What a way to start 2006. Happy new year!
