yes the picture rolls and also my video recorder cannot tune into the picture,like slowing down and speedind up of the motor.

i have one, its excellent for playing vcd`s, only one snag there seems to be some sort of protection when recording vcd`s to vhs and its not macrovision

can anyone tell me if the panasonic rv31eb has in built protection while transfering vcd`s to vhs.if so is there a way around it
