Well you must be right wing scum to even see any importance in a national anthem, and dumbass if you had any sort of historical knowledge you would know that Blakes Jerusalem is far from a national anthem. William Blake was a radical and a visionary, he was harassed by the estabishment of the day, eventually being arrested for sedition. Written at the time of the Industrial Revolution, this song is an attack on the new breed of capitalists that Blake saw in his midst. It asks how can the morals of Christ be compatable with the morality of exploitation, both of people and the enviroment. This is NO national anthem, if anything it is an anthem of the Left.
