Oh i forgot to add that http://www.gamelink.com put SAMPLE on the customs label !!!!!!!! so probably will not get stopped ????, not sure what customs does about samples, can someone inform me please !

The picture on the link looks like a Dansai all the buttons etc are in the same place and has the same drawer set up.

They are both hardcore suppliers, p&p with gamelink is $14.95 and the other is free. Gamelink offers free delivery on orders over $60 and there DVD`s start at $9.95 the one my mate(cough) bought for $9.95 was 5 hours long !.

Yes they are worth it ! , i erm i mean my mate has had no problems with them.

If you think about the many thousands of players they have sold the % for faulty ones and returns must be very very low ???

I have had a Dansai for a few months and had no problems whatsoever.

There are also many threads about how good they are, people just pick up on the negative points more.

Your premiums will rise else !, if they are not willing write to head office and mention Watchdog or something !!

I have seen a Decca one for sale in my local TV store the symbols on the bottom of the box look the same as on my Dansai`s box, they are selling it for £169.99 !!

Help needed please

Hi, im looking at the DVD Jackie Chan "My greatest Stunts" now its £18.99 at amazon + p&p and £10.99 inc p&p at Play. Trouble is it says its 190mins and 2dvd`s at Amazon, but Play says its 90mins long and no mention of a second DVD they are both Region 2 and the covers are identical and also are the RRP`s of £19.99, ive sent several emails to play with no response.
Does anyone have this DVD from play ? maybe someone can enlighten me i would be most gratefull !

(ps sorry if ive posted in wrong forum, but its a bargain anyway!)

Another point if Aldi,Tesco`s etc stopped selling these goods cheaply do you think the cost of DVD and Widescreen TV`s would still be expensive in Currys etc.?, .

If we didnt have Tesco etc alot of things would be more expensive.

Tesco`s are not "specialists" but where else can you get a decent multiregion macro free DVD player for less then a ton ???

I asked the salesperson in Currys about Macrovision and Multiregion and his reply "NOT HEARD OF THEM IS IT A NEW THING?"

Far better to look on this site and read up on a model you like and get it from the cheapest place possible.

Just been in to Stage 2 in Peterborough (i know where it is but not the road name maybe someone could help me there),today they have shed loads of LG DVD players for £99, also stacks of Sony, Bush, Alba, Samsung`s cant really remember the prices on those but they have a few Kenwood DVD players at £160.

This shop is owned by Freemans and they sell ex-catalogue goods but dont be put off i just picked up a Sony in-car CD player for £124 and the same one in Halfords is £249 !!!!! and its in mint condition.

Just picked up mine from Peterborough they have about 50 out , they also have shed loads of Wharfdale dvd players as well.

Nats macrovision is a copyright program so you cant copy DVD`s onto video. Most players have it ON but you can turn it OFF with the Dansai you can make backup copy`s of YOUR (he he) DVD`s.
