Hi....Got the same player from the same place 7 days ago....it plays anything i put in it....seems like you have a poorly machine....remember you have a money back back option if you are not satisfied....Steve

Thinking about buying one of these beasts...just read some where that this machine looks at bits left over after de-macro vision from source player and so prevents recording dvds etc...Anyone got this dvdr to verify this...or know away round it....Thanks Steve.
